Basics:
I am an artist/gallerist living in Princeton, Texas, an exurb North of Dallas.
I am currently the Gallery Coordinator at Richland College in Dallas, Texas.
I teach design and art appreciation.
I used to do Graphic Design work, home remodel and carpentry work.
I was born in Roswell, New Mexico in 1977 and have spent the majority of my life in the Texas/NewMexico area.
I have a BFA in painting from Texas Tech (2001) and a MFA in painting from Texas Christian University (2003).
I ran the Art Depot galleries in Lubbock Texas for over 3 years.
In 2007 I co-founded the Ryder Jon Piotrs Nomadic Gallery, a 24′ Ryder Truck converted into a white-walled gallery space. My colleagues in this endeavor are Jonathan Whitfill and Piotr Chizinski.
In 2009 I co-founded the Culture Laboratory, a collective of thirteen American artists interested in the exchange of ideas and the social development of art in the 21st century.
I have also traveled to Europe a few times, so I am cultured.
