Workshop dates: 4/7-10
Proposed project: Interactive Sculptures
I have 2 hours to get some highschool students to somehow develop interactive sculptures. This is the first round of ideas. Cardboard and wood glue with some string and a spring in one of them. (and spray paint to finish it off. )
Relatively cheap, no power tools needed, easy to cut and shape. Seems like a good idea for introducing basic machines (like the pulley) to the kiddos.
“Bazooka” is the name of my new art creation device.
It is a 2′ length of PVC pipe that I have turned into a sort of fire tunnel or cannon.
I roll up whatever piece of paper I wish to make into art, stick it in the tube, put some gunpowder in the end cap, and BOOM! ART!
Yep, it’s that easy folks. Gunpowder + Boom= Art.
